Why donate to On Spec?

On Spec receives the bulk of its operating funding from our National and Provincial arts granting agencies, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.

We'd like to do more. We have plans for educational initiatives as well as for helping emerging SF writers in Canada.  Please help us by using the button below to donate the cost of a latte or two. Monies raised will go towards the establishment of a special fund to allow us to go ahead with special initiatives not covered by grant monies. 

If we can reach $1,000 or more in total donations in a year, The Alberta Department of Culture and Community Spirit will match them, so do help us to achieve this goal by the end of the year.  We cannot give you a tax deduction receipt, but we will send good wishes in your direction.
